It has been stated a few times in other threads that Xavi is not home at the moment as its being renovated, he has little to no internet access at the moment.(he is due back towards the end of this month all being well) Yes the game is still actively being worked on. he has done some work towards the next version already and more is being worked on when he can, at the moment everything is everywhere as he and his family is sharing accommodation so not much room or place to work on the game, as well as his full time work.

I posted here quite some time ago and people were defending the game and were happy with the progress of the updates, since then, not one update has been released. So where are those people now, please come and say more about how you were right and this game is being updated.
