[14b] new economy

yk_new_economy

  • townies don't eat raw food
  • mod changes logic of item making, some items are created not in the end but but during action
  • mod changes logic of food cooking, some items are now picked all before cooking and destroyed. Also some food is prepared faster
  • roast is important part of food, it has huge value now
  • all roads give +75 speed
  • can drink water bucket
  • mineshafts can mine mud, sand, etc
  • some items require less materials

also, as all food is 1.25 to its fill%/time, example (milk 15%/12 = 1.25 | stew: milk+steak = 125%/100 = 1.25 ), i tried to fix it

just sharing this, as i found game a bit hard when you get to -16 level without such modifications.

Hi

when i try use your mode i get disconnect when click new game

Error:

problem is i didn't use/change caravans.xml or rawfoods. i only put canBeEaten to false for raw food.

what mods do you have else?

i installed clean version when i try change files and run game i have the same proble

I dont using any mods

e-em.. you do not CHANGE files, you just copy it to your mods folder under your users data folder.

fow windows 8 it is C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\.towns\mods\yk_new_economy\ for this mod location

yeah, it happens, also don't forget you have to enable mod you want to use in mods menu (in the game), so it goes to ON

by the way, you can change mod files and changes wil apply on next world reload, not all game, so you don't even have to re-enable mod, just reload world.
