If you want a new MOBA naval game, read this...

Hey guys, well... I thought many players might be interested in getting involved in other new interesting MOBA games different to what they are now playing. So I decided to make such a suggestion, as it has been a while before I could find anything decent free to play myself. It is called Wind of Luck: Arena. Anyway, the game is to do with dynamic ship battles on the sea what I like the most about it, pirates and fighting each other using cannons and carronades. It is a session-based game dedicated to naval battles of the age of sail warships. It’s a unique opportunity to feel like a commander or pirate captain in the midst of a furious sea fight. So anyone who likes naval battles or pirates would just really enjoy the game. :)

- A beautiful and very informative F1 Help screen with 3 tabs - basic controls, advanced controls and keyboard map.
- An option to see the name of a ship in game (Alt key)
- Enemy names now appear in red in around 0.75 miles distance
- Sails now sorted by tiers in Store
- A crash caused by battle chat bug is fixed
- Some preparations for introducing gold items and promo codes are made.

While I was enjoying the last update they did, I saw great news, which I'm going to share with you here, quite shortly :)

The game I was talking about is moving onto the Pre-release phase, and the first step to it is Update 0.6.6.

The game now has 18 Specialists that would make your ship even more dangerous and awesome!

You will be able to hire Specialists in the Tavern on Shipyard. After the Specialist is hired, he will be available in the list to be accepted on the ship. Different ships can hold different number of specialist, up to three. As a general rule of thumb, Tier 1-3 ships can hold 1 Specialist only, for Tiers 4-5 there are 2 Specialist slots, and Tiers 6-9 can take 3 Specialists. Note, that it’s not possible to have two specialists with same trade on the ship (i.e. you can’t have 2 Gunners, or a Gunner and a Seasoned Gunner on a ship at the same time).

Here is the second part of it :D

Another precious tool o’trade, Harpoon cannon, is added in this Update too. These pieces of master craft fires extra-sharp and heavy harpoons with heavy anchor on a long rope attached. It will impale the enemy board and help you to momentarily stop the sneaky enemies that are sailing too fast or maneuver too quick. You can buy Harpoon cannons in Store/Special.
There are 12 Harpoon cannons available divided into 3 groups that would correspond with ship tiers. Harpoon cannons will differ with a range of firing, recharge time, quantity of charges and the amount of time they would be able to stop the enemy ship.

Guys, there is a new update in the game 0.7.1. You might be interested to have a look at it and enjoy while playing the game. :) It comes here in parts:

1) Ship improvements are added.
You can buy up to 3 different ship improvements, including bulwark, fine gunpowder, water pumps, etc. on shipyard.
For fitting an improvement on a ship - click one of 3 improvement slots in lower right corner on shipyard.

Impovements cost rather high, compared to ships cost, especially for low-tier ships, but they are indestructible. If you like to change an improvement, old one will be sold fo a half of initial cost. Some improvements require unlocking a particular ability, some are available from the start. :D

Here is coming the second part :)

2) A lot of mid- and high-tier ships and some low-tier ships are slightly rebalanced.
Detailed info for each ship in particular will be a bit later today.
Note that for some ships cannon sets were changed too, for these ships old cannons and ammo were removed to Arsenal.
